(EPL:TSX-V) is pleased to announce that Stornoway Diamonds Corp (T.SWY) has exercised its right to participate in the Orchid option agreement between Eagle Plains and North Arrow Minerals Inc. (NAR:TSV-V). North Arrow and Stornoway will finance exploration according to their respective earn in terms under a pre-existing joint-venture agreement.
Cranbrook, B.C., 23 September, 2014: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (EPL:TSX-V) is pleased to announce that an agreement has been executed with North Arrow Minerals Inc. (NAR:TSV-V) whereby Eagle Plains has agreed to grant an option to NAR to earn a 70-per-cent undivided interest in the diamond rights on Eagle Plains' 100-per-cent-owned Orchid property (the “Property”), located in east-central Saskatchewan, approximately 140 km east of LaRonge and 15 kilometers east of North Arrow’s Pikoo diamond discovery.
Cranbrook, B.C., 13 August, 2014: Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) announces that field crews have been mobilized to commence exploration activity on the company’s 100% owned North Truscott and South Truscott properties, located 125km northeast of La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Acquired by staking for their gold potential, the discovery in 2012 of kimberlite-hosted diamonds at North Arrow Minerals’ nearby Pikoo property also highlights the areas’ diamond potential.
Cranbrook, B.C., June 5th, 2013: Eagle Plains has mobilized personnel to commence fieldwork on a number of exploration targets which were acquired by staking in early 2013 and are owned 100% by Eagle Plains with no underlying encumbrances. Project acquisition followed a period of in-depth geological research and resulted in six individual properties identified and secured for a total area of 97,000 ha. 2013 fieldwork will consist of digital data compilation (completed) followed by prospecting, geological mapping and soil geochemical sampling.
Cranbrook, B.C., January 8th, 2013: Eagle Plains has received formal titles from the Saskatchewan Ministry of the Economy for numerous mineral tenures applied for in late December under the newly-implemented Mineral Administration Registry Saskatchewan (“MARS”). This on-line staking system greatly decreases the cost of mineral claim staking in Saskatchewan.
